Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Project Manager to oversee complex environmental and industrial service projects. The Field Service Project Manager will play a key leadership role in managing site remediation, emergency spill response, hazardous waste cleanup, and environmental decontamination operations. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
As a Field Service Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities meet health, safety, and environmental standards while maintaining high levels of efficiency and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with project supervisors, technicians, and senior management to deliver outstanding field service results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of environmental and industrial field service projects.
- Ensure that health and safety remain the top priority across all Field Service Project Manager operations.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and work schedules for field service initiatives.
- Oversee field crews and subcontractors, ensuring all work complies with company and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance for remediation, decontamination, and hazardous material handling projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project transparency.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations.
- Support the continuous improvement of Field Service Project Manager operations through training and performance reviews.
- Monitor project budgets and deliver cost-effective results while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental field service operations or related project management.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Project Manager or in a similar leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of environmental remediation, emergency spill response, and hazardous waste management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of project cost estimating, scheduling, and procurement processes.
- Experience with federal and state environmental compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Emergency response supervisor training or Marine Spill Response training is a plus.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard computer applications.
