Accountabilities / Duties:

Team Leadership:

• Emphasizes the importance of customer satisfaction, demonstrates outstanding interaction, and nurtures a constructive team environment.
• Hires, educates, and nurtures staff members through transparently outlining performance standards.
• Regularly communicates with employees to evaluate their performance, offer input, and address obstacles effectively.
• Provides continuous coaching, carries out quarterly evaluations of performance, and promptly deals with any issues in performance.
• Assigns tasks to the Assistant Manager in order to maintain efficient day-to-day activities.
• Recognizes and guides upcoming leaders by offering opportunities for skill development and training across different areas.
• Keeps updated on all bakery activities and provides assistance as required to ensure smooth operations.

Business Operations:

• Manages the bakery's daily opening and closing routines, ensuring precise cash management and timely bank deposits.
• Handles custom requests for individuals, businesses, and major gatherings with meticulous attention to detail.
• Creates weekly targets for sales, production timetables, and staffing strategies that correspond with current business patterns.
• Oversees inventory, processes supply requests, and performs regular evaluations to ensure correct inventory quantities.
• Maintains compliance with food safety regulations, health guidelines, and operational protocols established by NbC consistently.
• Maximizes profits by overseeing manageable costs such as labor, materials, and upkeep.
• Carries out office tasks such as handling payroll, generating reports, and performing fundamental accounting responsibilities.

Local Marketing:

• Takes the lead in organizing community outreach programs to enhance brand recognition and interact with nearby collaborators.
• Coordinates bakery involvement in functions, sponsorships, and collaborations that are consistent with the values of NbC.
• Backs regional promotional initiatives to increase foot traffic and strengthen ties within the community.

Academic qualifications, official credentials, and professional background:

• Demonstrated effectiveness in overseeing groups, reaching financial objectives, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.
• Proficiency in organizing timetables, handling stock levels, and managing expenses.
• Possessing a food safety certification or being able to acquire one within a month of being hired is a requirement.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptability to acquiring proficiency in unfamiliar software platforms.
