Senior Electrical Engineer

Selectek has partnered with a growing design engineering firm that is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in design of Data Centers. Job duties include: leading the development of design solutions, providing technical design support to the design team, preparing schematic designs, construction documents and specifications in compliance with project program and building design, coordinating designs with other disciplines, manufacturers and vendors, performing field surveys and observations, and being responsible for the completeness and accuracy of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines.

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 15 years minimum work experience
• Licensed Engineer - NCEES Accredited
• Experience in design of MV (34.5 kV) power distribution systems
• General understanding of HV design power distribution
• Strong background on conductors, conduits and ground sizing per NEC requirements
• Strong understanding of load calculations, demand factors, fault current and voltage drop calculations
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required
• Experience preparing Arc Flash and Breaker Coordination Analysis
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
• Mastery of the model codes with specific focus on NFPA codes
